In case anyone was concerned, the large swells that are creating some amazing surf on our shores isn't affecting our whale watching trips! Once we got out of the harbor we had smooth sailing for the entire day and ended up seeing 14 gray whales and 600 common dolphins!!

The ocean was so calm and the sky was clear all day! We saw 11 gray whales on our first trip, including 7 all withing a quarter mile of each other! The afternoon trip saw 4 more grays and a huge pod of offshore bottlenose dolphins that were super playful!

Day 2 of the new year and it was spectacular! On our first trip we saw 8 gray whales including our first southbound cow/calf pair!! The second trip saw 5 more grays including one that breached twice and spy-hopped twice! Super awesome day on the water!!

2012 had an interesting start. We had fog on our morning tour, but still managed to find 1 gray whale and 75 common dolphins. The fog got worse by the afternoon trip, but after about an hour Mother Nature cleared the skies and showed us 4 more gray whales and 2 bottlenose dolphins!

Tuesday's trip took us 9 miles NW of Mission Bat to see thousands of common dolphins and 2 fin whales! We have 2 trips each day this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! See you out there and Happy Thanksgiving!

Monday's trip took us almost to Mexican waters to see a large pod of common dolphins

A great Labor Day! We had 1 blue whale and about 1000 common dolphins on the am trip and 2 blue whales on the pm trip! Thanks to everyone for coming out with us this weekend.

The blues of summer continue! Today we had 12 blue whales on both of our trips, plus over a thousand common dolphins! It looks like the animals decided to work this Labor Day weekend.

The conditions on the water were great today for both trips!!! We had 2 blue whales and 100 offshore bottlenose dolphin as well as over 2000 common dolphin.
